出ましたっ!「出ましたっ!パワパフガールズZ」

"They're Here! Powerpuff Girls Z"
"…possibly, they decided 'Powerpuff Girls Y' sounded stupid."
"The city of Townsville…" Anyone who's watched one or more episodes of the original Powerpuff Girls—created by Craig McCracken and origanally aired on Cartoon Network—has probably heard this line at least once. Well, in "Powerpuff Girls Z," it would be more like "The city of Tokyo…".
Though based off of the American animated series, it pretty different (and I'd say better). They both have three super-powered, school-aged girls called Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, at least contain "Powerpuff Girls" in the group name of their trios, both Blossoms are the self proclaimed leaders, both Bubbles are ditzy, both Buttercups are tomboys and the quickest to anger of the trio, the trios fight villians, contain alike characters (Professor Utonium, the mayor, Miss Bellum, Miss Keane, Mojo Jojo, Fuzzy Lumpkins, et cetera…), the Mayor usually calls in when there's a monster, you never see Miss Bellum's face (in the American animation, you see her face when she's a dog), the trios have the same colors for each girl (pink, light blue, and green), and they both leave pretty beams of light of their corresponding color behind them as they fly. Besides those things, their pretty different. You may think "How can it be much different? That's pretty much the whole show right there.", but, lets start with one major thing: how they were created.

"Sugar, spice, and everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girls… but Professor Utonium accidently added an extra ingredient to the concoction: Chemical X. *boom* And so the Powerpuff Girls were born! Using their altra super-powers, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup have deticated they're lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil! *do… do do do do do do…*" So anyway, that about sums up the American animation version of their creation. The Anime verison is more like this:
A daifuku fell into a vat of Chemical X, changing the chemical into a more powerful one, which ユートニウム博士 (Professor Utonium) names "Chemical Z" (they skipped Y). Then, weather all over the world went haywire—iceburgs near Japan, snow in Egypt, no rain in Italy, et cetera. 北沢ケン (Ken Kitazawa) (a young boy who helps Professor Utonium in the lab) is eager to use the Chemical Z to correct the weather, but Professor Utonium tells him that they need to test it first. Ken decides to test it… on the weather corruption, and before Professor Utonium can stop him, he shoots the Chemical Z at one of the iceburgs.
The Chemical Z works. The weather fades back to normal (at least in Tokyo), but, out of the iceburg come beams of white and black light.
赤堤ももこ (Momoko Akatsutsumi) is just about to bite into a candy bar while sitting on a bench when she sees one of the beams of white light heading straight for a little girl playing with a yo-yo. She rushes to the girl and covers the girl up. Being hit by the white light, she transforms into ハイパー・ブロッサム (Hyper Blossom), her "weapon" a yo-yo.

豪徳寺みやこ (Miyako Gōtokuji), after shopping, stops to watch a little girl blow bubbles, adoring how pretty they are. She notices a beam of white light heading towards the little girl and grabs the girl, covering her up. Being hit by the white light, too, she transforms into "ローリング・バブルス" (Rolling Bubbles), her "weapon" a gaint bubble wand.
松原かおる (Kaoru Matsubara) is skateboarding down the sidewalk to see a light boy holding a toy hammer kneeling by a bench with some other toys on it. She sees a white beam of light heading towards the little boy, and jumping her skateboard, flies in front of the little boy. Being hit by the white like, she transforms into "パワード・バターカップ" (Powered Buttercup), her weapon a big toy hammer.
After Professor finds them and brings them all to his lab, they become パワパフガールスZ (Powerpuff Girls Z).
The girls are in middle school (instead of kindergarten like in the American animation), their outfits are better, they can change between their normal selves and super-heroine, they have to keep the fact that they are Powerpuff Girls Z a secret, they're personalities are a little different, and other things. Most of the villans' stories are different, too, and there are new villains (usually only one episode ones, though). At least, I believe, most of the villians were hit by the black beams of light (pretty easy to guess that). Some of them are hit by them and turn evil and stay evil, but others need something to trigger their evil form (some switch between their forms, some stay evil, and at least one turns evil, stays evil for a while, and when turned back to normal stays normal).

The show doesn't really have a ongoing plot (thought the first 3 have the beginning plot on how they became Powerpuff Girls Z, and I think there is a little plot strung through some episodes (and the end episodes might have more of a plot)). The episodes after words have mini plot stories (how major villians came to be, I've seen at least one plot that had two edisodes, ect.), but usually, it was like the original show with the fact that most episodes were random battles with villians (hey, anyother thing to add to that list above!).

アニメの少女

Hi there! Welcome to my blog. As you can tell by various things, this is an anime blog (duh). If you look at my info, you'll find I'm a fourteen year old girl in the 8th grade (just look under Haruhi).
アニメの少女 (Anime no Shōjo) is Japanese which is literally translated to "Girl of Anime".
So, the first thing I will start with is a list of anime I have watched (in the order watched).
I may have forgotten some, and I've seen some of other animes (like I've watched some episodes of ナルト (NARUTO)), but anyway, I will be posting separate posts in the future about each of these anime (besides Pokémon, Monster Rancher, Hamtaro, Digimon, and Naruto), with a spoiler-free premise and spoiler labels.
