"Ouran High School Host Club"

This anime was amazing!

I don't know why, but I just loved it so much. It was so funny, the plot and character backstory was certainly entertaining to watch (and you wanted to learn more), and the cute boys were definitely a joy to watch~ xD

=O

I watched it in English (I prefer to watch stuff in English because my reading skills are meh, and so I get it better if I can listen to the dialogue), and I personally like the voices, though some are pretty different from the Japanese, if you ask me; certainly Tamaki's (though I love his English voice more than his Japanese, also if you ask me).

I really hope they make a second season. I will probably freak. And I might end up reading the manga (depends~).

And, by the way, sorry for me being so slow with posts. At least with the airing anime, I watch them with my brother, so we only can watch them when we both are able to. He's going to college in less than a week, so after that I'll be watching them by myself (but then I have to learn how to use torrents... -_-;;; I've only ever ran into problems before).

"Now, I could be wrong, but I think we may be witnessing the beginnings of love here."

Heck... yes... xD

I so supported Haruhi/Tamaki ship from early on in the show. xP Even if I love Tamaki, I'll give him up to Haruhi (but Haruhi only!! xD). Just kidding, peeps. =P

"Umineko no Naku Koro ni" episode 6

WOW.

Just WOW.

This episode seemed totally different from the rest if you ask me. =P It seemed more modern, I guess, because they didn't stick on the island the whole time. But, no, I'm not saying it was bad. I liked it. =3 I'm loving this show so far! ^w^ It's odd, though, that I, of all people, like this show. O^o

My brother was trying to get me to watch Higurashi, sense I like this show so much. He said that he's surprise how violent the network let them go, but I reminded him that Higurashi not only is that violent, but also shows the killing scenes, which is the main thing that is freaky. So, no, I won't be watching Higurashi... -_-;;; *still a wimp*

I both like and hate Beatrice...

... somehow. Don't ask how, because I'm not sure... O^o I mean, she acts nice sometimes, but I think that she's really just acting that way for selfish reasons... I don't completely have this witch figured out...

Jessica, this is where you do a Yoshida-type thing (even if I hate Yoshida). D=

Kanon's a little too... serious(?) about his role as a servant. Maybe "old-fashioned" is a better way to put it... Either way, I'm glad he's back, but you're not a piece of furniture, stupid! Geez, you've got an extremely hot girl in love with you and you just turn her down because you're "furniture??" This kid's got his priorities mixed up... -_-;;;

Oh, and...

MARISA STOLE THE PRECIOUS THING.

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" season 2 episode 9

ENDLESS EIGHT HAS ENDED! =D

Oh, yeah, baby! xD Finally over! =D

During the scene when Kyon was organizing the homework meet, I was squealing my head off and clapping. "Yay, Kyon! You're not an idiot this time!! =D" was probably what I was thinking. x3 Then, right after that, when Haruhi got totally pissed at Kyon, that was funny! It was even funnier when Haruhi, afterwards, was like "I'm coming, too!!"

So, hooray, we can finally move away from Endless Eight. ^w^ Too bad there's only a few episodes left... -_-;;; They've got to be joking... Seriously.

Kyon's finally gettin' lucky. =3

"Sora no Manimani" episode 3

Hime is still annoying, but at least it still looks like she's not gonna go overboard. xD

Sorry I keep bringing that up; those types of characters just really, really bug me... -_-;;;

So, moving on... ^w^;;;

Even if Saku hates Mihoshi, I think she's adorable! ^w^ Kinda makes you wonder what type of person could hate her...

... Tsundere... *glare*

Alright, as I said before, Saku isn't too bad of a tsundere, but I still hate most of them, nonetheless—at least the ones that are always tsuntsun and never deredere... *cough* Hina *cough* Shana *cough*.

Saku needs to be deredere more often, though. =P

As for the show besides the characters (which have seemed to be my main focus, but I like them so much, I guess xD), there isn't really much to talk about. The plot is cute and entertaining, the comedy is good, but there hasn't been something that's really stuck out to me, though. I mean, I do want to learn more about Saku and Mihoshi's background together, and maybe some of their separate stories, but, right now, the plot's just been simple: a group of friends trying to keep their astronomy club alive with a bit of tension between certain characters and whatnot. =3 I'm not saying it's bad or anything, no. Some shows just entertain you, but there's not much of a plot (like Hayate, though it has been getting some of a plot, which has been making me love it more! xD). That doesn't make it bad, as long as they can do a good job at it. =3

Seems like no one likes this show, though; I can't find any good screenshots online (my brother has the episodes, so I can't take them myself) and subs are coming out slow as crap (yes, I have to watch subs... TT^TT Hope to learn Japanese someday, though! =D).

So, yeah, no screenshots this time... My post looks so bare! TT^TT

"Don't Say LAZY" {English Cover}

Lol, it came out pretty badly, but it was kind of fun to make (besides crappy iMovie... -_-;;;). =3

(The links to the places where I got the lyrics and the karaoke version are in the description of the video on YouTube. =3)

I might do "Naraku no Hana" next; we'll see if I can sing that better than this! xD

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" season 2 episode 8

...

Seriously, even while watching the episode, there was nothing more I could say to insult it...

They're trolling us... TT^TT Weeks ago I knew they were trolling us... This is RIDICULOUS now!

Haruhi expresses the look on the viewers' faces: insanity.

"Sora no Manimani" episode 2

Oh, gosh, no... -_-;;;

I sincerely hope that she's not going to be too annoying with her obsessing over Saku... -_-;;; Characters like the annoying the heck outta me!

She's gonna be like Yoshida from Shakugan no Shana, isn't she? An annoying little stalker who goes overboard with everything.

Ugh, I'm just hoping she won't... She only had a few moments in this episode where she was annoying, so maybe it won't be too often...

He's in his Happy Place...

I mentioned in the last post that the president looks like a lovable character, and I still think so! xD I don't know why, but he just is! =D (Though they still haven't explained what the heck's wrong with him...)

Oh gosh, short post! =O Can't think of much else, especially since it's been a few days since I've watched the episode (I was busy over the weekend, so I couldn't post then).

"Sora no Manimani" episode 1

Yay! Deredere in the first episode! =D

I FINALLY got around to watching this episode.

Well, first episodes usually aren't the best, but, hey, it's a romantic comedy, so I'm expecting it to turn out okay. =3 It was pretty good, though. ^w^

Truthfully, both the main characters are sort of annoying, but then somehow lovable at the same time, as in they have both their good and bad points, of course. Mihoshi's energy can be seen as either cute or annoying, actually. I like a hyper attitude (maybe because I have one... >.>;;;), but I have to admit there are some times when you need to calm down at least a little. Saku is too much of a downer, but he does have his excuses. He seemed to be somewhat of a tsundere, though, already showing a bit of his deredere side. =3 I hate tsundere except for their deredere side. xD

I really don't get the club president, though... Why's he always coughing up blood and acting like he's dying? I mean, if they would explain why, I wouldn't be so confused, though he seems like he might be a lovable character (well, at least, if you ignore the blood dripping from his mouth nearly 24/7...). As for the other characters, none of them have really caught much of my attention, except for maybe Fumie, who looks like competition for Mihoshi. xP

This is what happens when two tsundere meet.

"Aoi Hana" episode 3

Alright, so I gave it one last chance...

I'm dropping the show. Not only is it much too lesbian for me, but it's kind of slow-paced, and hence, boring. I mean, I am curious about a couple things, but they aren't worth watching this show... -_-;;;

So, without even talking about the third episode, I announce that I am indeed dropping this show.

Goodbye, Lesbians...

... hello, creepy-little-girl-whom-I-do-not-know-the-sexual-orientation-of.

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" season 2 episode 7

...

Itsuki: the only good thing about a repeating episode...

"Umineko no Naku Koro ni" episode 4

Now there are only five left... O^O

They're all dying so quickly, they're gonna have to come back to life like the epitaph said, or else the show will be done in, like, 5 or 6 episodes. xD

NOOOOOO!!

Kanon was actually pretty awesome (even if he looked like a girl)! D= Why'd he have to die!?

Well, at least Maria didn't die, though I am starting to get creeped out by her. O^o Even within the room with the scorpion on the door and while holding the charm, she still acted possessed, so I don't think she is...

"Aoi Hana" episode 2

Ugh... -_-;;;

Not only is it too yuri for a straight person like me to handle (YES, I am straight!), but it's rather boring so far if you ask me. It's pretty slow-paced and not much is going on.

I'm always so stubborn about dropping shows, though, because I always hope that one episode it'll end up getting better, and if I drop the show, I'll miss that episode. D= But... I don't know... Maybe I'll give it one more episodes to redeem itself, and then decide if I'll continue watching it, but it depends if I can even bear one more... -_-;;;

Seriously, there is like nothing else to post about... -_-;;; That's how boring it was... Ah, well, end of post.

I can't find any picture that's better (no one likes this show... -_-;;;).

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" season 2 episode 6

...

AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

I am SO GLAD I was SO HIGH on caffeine while watching this!

That's all I've got to say!

Creepy bug... O^o

Oh, and Yuki = Woobie.

"Umineko no Naku Koro ni" episode 3

Tonight on Umineko no Naku Koro ni...

SOMEBODY DIES... Again. And by somebody, I mean two more people. =P

YES! The Jerkette is dead-I mean... It's a shame that Eva had to die... xD She seemed pretty smart though, so she could have been a big help, but, geez, I feel so bad for George! First his could-have-been-fiancée, and now his two parents!

George = Woobie

And, geez, how come no one realizes that something's up with Maria? O^o Does she always act like she's possessed or something?!

"Oh, there's nothing going on here, just acting insane..."

I mean seriously! =P

My Comic Practice

Well, it came out... badly, but this was just practice, I swear! D= I also didn't try too hard with some things... >.>

But, anyway, this is just a practice comic, because, well, I want to make a comic, of sorts. It was really just on a whim, seeing that I've been reading manga after manga after manga, so it just came to mind to make a comic, and when I asked my brother for a plot idea, he gave me one and asked me to try and work with.
"On the first day of high school, a flamboyant girl named Hikari meets a shy bookworm named Sana who rarely says even a complete sentence. Determined to get Sana to open up to the class, Hikari enrolls them both in her school's art club, only to find that they are the only two members!"

Well, seeing I already posted about this on my DeviantART's account's journal, I kind of don't feel like repeating it, so you can read it if you'd like.

"Umineko no Naku Koro ni" episode 2

DDDD=

Poor George and Shannon, and Jessica, and Maria, and... Well, you get the point.

Yeah, they did kind of rush in, I agree with the people who say that, but, nonetheless, I like this show so far. =3 Though I can't compare it to the manga, visual novel, or Higurashi.

George and Shannon's relationship may have been out of nowhere, but it was sweet. It took me a moment to realize that he was just telling her to except the ring, and then answer his proposal tomorrow after thinking it over, showing him her answer, which was cute. ^w^ Disagree with me if you want, but that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. =3

And she was wearing the ring! D=

But nooooo... People can't be happy this early in the show. TT^TT

As I've mentioned before, I'm a wimp, a very squeamish wimp, so I, unlike people who aren't wimps, am happy it was censored, but I can't really talk. =P The most disturbing thing for me was Jessica's crying for her father. 3=

Aww... I believe you, Maria. 3=

Maria's still adorable. =3 (And maybe me favorite. =3)

(For my tags, "ship kill" literally. O^o)

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" season 2 episode 5

END ALREADY ENDLESS EIGHT! Dx

Geez... Well, at least they mixed it up a little bit this episode... I mean, more so than the last one...

Seriously, at the most this could have been three episodes long, if not two. -_-;;;

Alright, if it does not end the next episode, I will rampage! Dx And more than I am now! xP

Oh, and I repeat: Poor Yuki... 3=

(Sorry if I'm a little slow with my posts; I'm slow with watching anime, because I'm also (finally) watching Firefly, so I don't quite have the same amount of time to watch a bunch of anime at night.)

"Aoi Hana" episode 1

Yay! Another new show! =D

Kind of like with Umineko no Naku Koro ni, I'm just sort of jumping into this show without knowing much about it. =P Well, I like slice-of-life type anime, so this might turn out good. =3

Problem is, this show is so yuri... I'm not a fan of that type of thing (or yaoi, by the way)... I'll probably end up stopping in the middle of the show. xD (Ironically, I didn't read the obvious part on Wikipedia saying it's based off of a yuri manga until I checked after watching the first episode... -_-;;;)

Maybe it'll be like Maria-sama ga Miteru and be pretty subtle about it, but, after reading the description, I doubt it... (Man, I can just see someone who has read the manga reading this post and laughing at me... -_-;;;)

... Well, anyway, I guess I'll just take this one episode at a time... So, episode number one!

Now, the first episode really wasn't much, just setting up the plot. Introduces our two main characters and the fact that they used to be inseparable. Also introduces their all-girl schools, some schoolmates, their families, personalities, and so on.

Not much to say besides the fact that am I mistaken or is Fumi in love with her female cousin? O^o I know that cousins can marry in Japan, but it's yuri already! xP

Alright, I honestly cannot say much else... Oh, well, it'll just be a shortish post. =P Well, I have to have at least one picture in each post, so I'm gonna throw a random one at the end. =P

This really should have been my first hint...

Happy Independence Day! =D

That's what I was like a half hour ago. =P

Oh my gosh, late at night, but Happy Independence Day to all Americans (like me ^w^)! To all non-Americans, hope you have a happy day. =3

Ugh, it was all rainy today, so we didn't go to the parade. 3= But we got to set of fireworks! ^w^ Oh, and yummy food! =D We ate yummy food! xD

Alright, talking about my Independence Day is boring, so lets just post a picture and end the post so you can get on with your (holi)day. =P

There's gonna be fireworks (fireworks!) on the Fourth of July (red, white, and blue!)

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" season 2 episode 4

This is getting kinda tedious... -_-;;;

I mean, at least in the second part, it was pretty different from the first, seeing that Kyon was commenting on Deja Vu, they figured out they were looping in time, etc. This part was exactly the same as the second.

Ironically, my brother told me that some jerk on Wikipedia copied and pasted the info for the last episode and used it for the info for this one. Now I know why.

Man, they could have just concluded it in this episode! When I thought it was just going to be three parts, I jokingly called it the "Endless Three." Now I think it really is going to be the "Endless Eight" with eight episodes. -_-;;;

Alright, I doubt it'll be eight episodes, but it better just be four, and I hope they don't go through everything the same way all over again. -_-;;; I mean, seriously, I love this anime, but this is seriously getting repetitive...

Well... seeing that this episode was basically the same, there's nothing more to talk about besides my venting there... Well, alright, then. End of post, I guess... xDD

"Umineko no Naku Koro ni" episode 1

Yay! New show! =D

Well, first off all, let me start out by saying: I have never watched Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Not the first season, nor the second. But, I must also add that my brother has and told me much about it. Truth is, it sounds interesting, and I want to watch it, but, sadly, being a very violent and scary show, I'd have nightmares for years (I've been scared/freaked out by parts of the show I've seen, let alone all of it; I'm a wimp).

I have seen episodes 2-4 of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei, because I was interested in the plot line and it didn't have much violence.

But, either way, seeing this show can barely even be called a spin-off, I'm pretty sure any knowledge of Higurahi no Naku Koro ni is not required to be able to watch it.

My brother assured me that there wouldn't be much violence in this series, especially compared to Higurashi, so, I decided to give it a try. I love murder mystery things, anyway. =3 There's something about using what little of my brain I have to think about such things that is rather enjoyable to me.

So, lets start this episode review off! =D The best place to start? The beginning!

It's starts off with introducing all of the suspects, and oh my gosh am I lost when it comes to who's who! T^T I think I've got Beatrice, Maria, and Rosa down, but that's about it. =P

It's my Yui Horie! =D (I love Hanyuu~ ^w^)

Now, even though I was quite confused and might need to watch this episode again (and then maybe even again... and again...) to really understand all that's going on (doesn't help that I'm a slow reader -_-;;;), the show is starting out good. ^w^ Though only one episode, I like it so far. =3 It's kind of rare to be able to say that with the first episode, seeing that the first episode is the one that simply introduces everything, but as long as what they introduce seems interesting, that makes it good, right? xD

So, anyway, sense the first episode is the introduction episode, not much to really say, I guess. Beatrice has really caught our attentions, though, of course. I know I certainly want to learn more about her. Also, I want to know what happened when she gave the umbrella to Maria. I want to see that scene! ToT Oh, well, maybe they'll show it or explain it later on. =3

Hey, that guy's kinda cute-

-oh, wait, he's a pervert...

... Oh, well, he has a cute, bespectacled friend named George, anyway. (Hey, I remembered another person's name! =D That is his name, right?)

Wait, Kanon's a GUY!?

SHE IS A TOTAL JERK!! Dx

"Hayate the Combat Butler!!" UPDATE

Well, seeing the last few Hayate posts have been... well... short with nothing really in them, from now on, I'll just be posting updates venting/ranting/squeeing/etc. about things that have been going on in the show.

HINA SINGING "CRUEL ANGEL'S THESIS" WAS AWESOME! xD I wanted to post the video, but no one put it on YouTube, so failure... -_-;;;

Well, in the last episode (13, I think =P), I actually... sort of liked Hina. =3 SHE NEEDS TO BE DEREDERE MORE OFTEN! Dx I don't like Tsunderes, so that's why I don't really like her... But in this episode, I saw her Deredere side for probably the first time (remember, I haven't seen the first season). AND HAYATE IS SO NICE! xD It's insane so many girls (and one guy >.>) like him, but he is awesome. =P

"Hatsukoi Limited" episode 12

AWESOME SHOW!

I just... don't know what to say! =3 The ending was cute, almost all of my favorite ships worked out (all but two, if you count the two Bessho ship...), and Kei and Kusuda confessed! =D They're probably my overall favorite ship (though I think I already mentioned that...). ^w^

They had to squeeze one of these scenes in, huh? xD And, of course, the other girls all have to be jealous of the girl with the biggest breasts. EVERY. TIME. I swear. xD

That's right, SCREAM to the Heavens! =D

That scene was cute, screaming out, "I LOVE (insert chick's name here)!" =3 I wonder if that actually does make you feel better... I have to remember that when I get my first real heartbreak. =P Lol, I'm so young an naive. xD

Yay. =3 (though, not really together in the end, still better than nothing...)

BOO! HISS! Dx

Yay! =D (And wow, that hairstyle works for him... O^o)

Well, it was a good show, and I'll miss it. =3 The manga was canceled, so chances for a second season are slim, I guess, but I still hope they make one! xD

"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" season 2 episode 3

15,948 times!! =O

Oh my gosh, what're they gonna do? =O I like Itsuki's idea of Kyon telling Haruhi he loves her. xD That may work! xD Remember when they were stuck in that separate world? He kissed her, and they went back home!

Poor Yuki... Being an alien can suck sometimes! xD I forgot how long Kyon said she had been enduring this (and I'm too lazy to figure out myself =P), but it was a loooooooong time.

I'm sorry, but I don't feel sympathy for this whiny crybaby...

Man, this show is so good! =D I know I keep saying that, but it is, and I'm so glad it's back! ^w^

Saturday, June 27, 2009

"Hatsukoi Limited" episode 11

Only one more episode left! =O

I'm gonna miss this show. It's so darn good! =3 I still feel bad for Kei and Kusuda, but at least Kei got a pep talk from Beast-kun.

This show is made of pep talks! xD

But poor Kei before that scene, and even somewhat afterwards, 'cause she still thinks Kusuda hates her. Also, we got deeper into Kusuda's feelings, which make us feel even worse for him.

You have to wonder: how are they going to fix every problem in one episode? =O Well, you know what that means? EPIC EPISODE. Either that or a downer one. =P OR a second season (they better, because this show rocks!).

Man, the very thought of traveling on my bike makes me exhausted... -_-;;; Well, I have bad endurance... GETTING OFF THE POINT.

Yeah, it's pretty insane what they're doing. I wouldn't do that unless I had a bunch of money for the train, hotel rooms, food, etc. They really didn't plan it out, those morons... -_-;;;

FINALLY she realizes that Yuuji doesn't like her! Alright, now just hook up with Yoshihiko, alright? xD They BETTER. Then Ayumi with Mamoru, Kei with Kusuda, Nao with Hiroyuki, and Meguru with Takei. Lol, there, now you know all the people I ship. xP
